Healthy Homes Tai Tokerau is a joint venture partnership between two long established Northland charitable community enterprises - He Iwi Kotahi Tatou Trust from Moerewa and the Community Business & Environment Centre (CBEC) from Kaitaia. This partnership was established in early 2008 and to date we have retrofitted over 2,000 Northland homes with insulation measures. Northland people working for Northland Locally owned and operated. We are the largest insulator in the Whangarei and Far North area. We currently have trained installation teams located Northland wide. Healthy Homes Tai Tokerau is also able to provide insulation subsidies to other residential properties of between 33% to 60% for qualifying houses (excluding the free retrofits mentioned earlier). 100% Kiwi Made Polyester Insulation Our products are guaranteed safe for you and your family. Most kiwis wear polyester everyday keeps us warm. There are NO glues used in making the polyester products whereas some other forms of insulation are bonded with glues. Glues are known to break down over time, releasing a chemical called formaldehyde, which causes health concerns. Polyester has no negative effect on health.
